PROGETTO PER LA RADIOTERAPIA
DELL'OSPEDALE PERRINO DI BRINDISI

Era trascorso oltre un anno, da quando il Dr. Maurizio Portaluri, Direttore del reparto di Radioterapia, dell'Ospedale Perrino di Brindisi, mi aveva messo a conoscenza di un'organizzazione di volontariato, costituita tra gli stessi operatori del medesimo reparto, con la finalità di solidarietà, nei riguardi degli ammalati oncologici. Maurizio mi aveva chiaramente riferito, dell'esistenza dell'associazione "Progetti per la radioterapia di Brindisi", di cui egli stesso ne rappresenta la presidenza. Si tratta di un'associazione sostenuta in parte, anche per mezzo di contributi economici, attraverso la beneficenza dei cittadini. Questa organizzazione, è intenzionata a migliorare l'assistenza ai malati, che si rivolgono al centro di Radioterapia di Brindisi. Tra le varie iniziative, che questa associazione si è impegnata di realizzare, vi sarebbe anche quella della decorazione degli ambienti del reparto in argomento. Per cui, per solidarietà d'intento, tale progetto, ha visto impegnata anche la mia persona, in qualità di artista. Quando Maurizio mi parlò dei loro plurimi obiettivi da perseguire, io stavo lavorando ad alcune tele, che mi vedevano indaffarata nella ricerca sperimentale, sulla sensibilità sensoria; sia fisica, sia mentale, che spirituale. L'olfatto, l'udito, il gusto, la vista, il tatto, sono i soggetti che tuttora vado risolvendo in chiave artistica, dapprima attraverso l'utilizzo di mezzi convenzionali, quelli materici, quindi tipici della pittura contemporanea, servendomi delle paste cemento, e degli oli colorati. Mentre successivamente, addentrandomi in uno studio parallelo agli stessi soggetti sensori, faccio uso dei mezzi digitali. In questa maniera, i due linguaggi quello materico, e quello multimediale, si aggradano l'uno dell'altro, giungendo ad una osmotica artisticità, in cui l'intento ultimo, sarebbe quello sublimato al messaggio poetico. Messaggio ricercato dapprima nel magma materico, e dopo nella luce esplosiva del colore, che muto in macro visioni poetiche, in cui la "scrittura" avanza, fondendosi nella "gestualità", che si rivela anche nel macchinosità digitale. La parola scritta, si rimesta dapprima, con l'arbitrio nel di-segno, in seguito con la gestualità pensata, ed infine con la manualità informatizzata, per il puro piacere mediatico, tra "l'occhio-mentis" dell'artista, e quello fisico, dell'osservatore comune. Mirabilmente, induco tale osservatore, in cotanta luce coloristica, per essere catturato dalla conturbante energia, che sensoriaMente, trascina in una dimensione "altra", in un silenzio mistico, dove mai alcun evento tragico, potrebbe annullare, VisivaMente, OlfattivaMente, UditaMente, GustosaMente, TattilMente, quel che l'anima custodisce oltre il corpo.
Agendo in questa maniera:
<<Nella poetica della mia creazione, sporco, graffio e incido la superficie.
Stropiccio come carta, la mia anima, ne rivelo il segno, come un solco della mente. Scaravento i gesti contro il tempo, quando il mio cuore si affaccia nel bianco, mentre in testa si fa giorno, per un'opera novella, di colori, sagome e parole. Scruto il luogo-superficie-pittorica, e vi affondo dentro con le dita, impastando la poesia, custode di me.
Catturo lo sguardo. Catturo i suoni. Catturo gli odori. Catturo i sapori. Li fisso tutti nel mio tatto. Li fermo nell'indelebile senso, dell'umana percezione celestiale, attraverso veli di colore. Vesto diafani corpi, immagini-iconiche, generate di petto alla durezza degli eventi dissoluti, quando a dissacrare la natura, è lo svuotamento morale, nel guazzabuglio ciclonico della deviazione umana, dalla vera ed assoluta essenza vitale, l'amore sacro. Unico fulcro d'equilibrio, e baricentro vitale, nell'era della dispersione, nell'eccesso frenetico e affannante di evoluzioni laconiche, dove la scienza e la tecnologia limiterebbero lo spazio sensorio, annullandone, la vista, l'udito, l'olfatto, il gusto ed il tatto, in virtù del nulla, senza l'uomo. In virtù dell'ipocrisia che offuscherebbe i sensi, col vuoto in eccesso, da cui io emergo, avviluppata tra le mie percezioni sensorie, scuotendo la mia anima, per musicare i passi del mio tempo, dando suono alle mie orme, a spasso per il cuore, colorando dentro i riflessi di un cielo inchiostrato, Angeliche Menti, tra i sensi della mia anima monda!>>.
Perciò, avanzando in questa mia ricerca artistica, ho motivato ulteriormente questo screening pittorico, in funzione degli ambienti riluttanti, caratteristici di un ospedale. Tipici di un reparto, le cui pareti, nella loro silenziosa durezza, celano i pensieri ed i respiri, di uomini e di donne. In questa maniera, ho lavorato in contrasto al grigiore deprimente di quelle facciate, che avvolgono la "Vita" di gente lesa, dalle più incredibili patologie.
Tra quelle mura, nel transito ospedaliero, tra un terapia e l'altra, si affaccia spesso quell'infelice pensiero…tra la carne martoriata dalla malattia, che spesso giunge ad annullare, i sensi. A cancellare il gusto, la "vista", l'"udito", il "tatto",
l'"olfatto", che impressi nella nostra "Mente", vanno a solcare il confine sotto a Dio. Col mio segno-colore ho fissato nel tempo, quel che mai alcuna malattia, potrebbe cancellare, dentro ai sensi vergati nella nostra luce, nella nostra anima, quelli per il quale "SensoriaMente" sconfiniamo dentro Dio!

Il culmine artistico, di "SensoriaMente" congiunto alla mia ricerca dei cinque sensi, sia quelli fisici, che quelli sentimentali, si è rivelato nella sua interezza, dopo un anno di studio, e lavoro intenso. Finchè, giunta alla fase della realizzazione di stampa, delle mie cinque opere, ho coinvolto al mio fianco i grafici del laboratorio digitale "DigiArt", di Ceglie Messapica. Le cinque opere, ciascuna delle dimensioni di cm130x98, realizzate su Canvas, hanno visto il loro sviluppo conclusivo, nel mese di novembre 2008.

Tali opere, il 24 dicembre 2008, hanno avuto collocazione negli ambienti del reparto di Radioterapia dell'ospedale Perrino di Brindisi, dove per mezzo di una cerimonia di presentazione pubblica, ho donato ufficialmente le mie opere artistiche, contribuendo al "Progetto per la Radioterapia di Brindisi", certamente con l'intenzione di rendere più gradevoli gli ambienti di sosta, dei pazienti e del personale medico, di codesta struttura ospedaliera. Ma soprattutto con l'intento di immergere la scienza nell'arte, e viceversa, sicura che il colore abbia, in un qual "senso", un intenso potere terapico!

PROJECT FOR THE RADIOTHERAPY
OF THE HOSPITAL PERRINO OF BRINDISI

Had spent over a year since Dr. Maurice Portaluri, Director of the Department of Radiotherapy, of the hospital Perrino in Brindisi, had put me to knowledge of an organization of volontariato, constituted among the same operators of the same department, with the finality of solidarity, in the respects of the ill oncologicis. Maurice had clearly reported me, of the existence of the association "Projects for the radiotherapy in Brindisi", of which him same represents the presidency of it. It deals with an association sustained partly, also through economic contributions, through the beneficence of the citizens. This organization, is intenzionata to improve the assistance to the sick, that turn him to the center of Radiotherapy in Brindisi. Among the various initiatives, that this association is hocked to realize, there would be also that of the decoration of the environments of the department in matter. For which, for solidarity of intent, such project, has seen busy also my person, as artist. When Maurice spoke to me of theirs multiple objectives to pursue, I was working to some cloths, that saw me busy in the experimental search on the sensory sensibility; is physical, is mental, that spiritual. The sense organs, the smell, the hearing, the taste, the sight, the touch, is the subjects that still go resolving in artistic key, at first through the use of conventional means, those matericis, therefore typical of the contemporary painting, the pastas cement, and of the colored oils. While subsequently, penetrating me in a parallel study to the same sensory subjects, I make use of the half digitalis. In this way, the two languages that materico and that multimediale, the one of the other is pleased, coming to an osmotic artisticità, in which the last intent, would be that sublimed to the poetic message. Sought after message at first in the magma materico, and later in the explosive light of the color, that I change in macro you view poetic, in which her "writing" it advances, melting itself in her "gestualità", that he also reveals in the digital Mechanical. The written word, is stirred again at first, with the will in the design, subsequently with the gestualità thought, and finally with the manualità informatizzata, to like mediatico, among "him eye-mentis" of the artist and that physical, of the common observer. Admirably I induce such observer, in cotanta light coloristica, to be captured by the perturbing energy, that sensorily drags in a dimension, "other", in a mystical silence, where some tragic event, could annul never, Visually, Olfactory-Mind, Hearing-Mind, Tasti-Mind, Tactilely, that that the soul guards over the body.
Acting in this way:

In virtue of the hypocrisy that would darken the senses, with the void in excess, from which I emerge, enveloped among my sensory perceptions, shaking my soul, for musicare the footsteps of my time, giving sound to my tracks, to amusement for the heart, inside the reflexes of an inky sky, Angelic minds, among the senses of my soul clean!>>.
Therefore, advancing in this artistic search of mine, I have subsequently motivated this pictorial screening, in operation of the reluctant environments, characteristic of a hospital.
Typical of a department, whose walls, in their silent hardness, they conceal the thoughts and the breaths of men and of women. In this way, I have worked in contrast to the depressing grayness of those façadessurrounding the "Life" of people injured, from the most unbelievable pathologies. Those walls, in the transit hospital, between a therapy and the other, often looks unhappy thought... of flesh torn from the disease, which often leads to annul the senses. To clear the “taste”, "view", "hearing", "touch", the "sense of smell", that engraved in ours "Mind", they go to plough under the border to God. With my sign-color I have fixed in the time, that that never some illness, could cancel, in the senses lined in our light, in our soul, those for which, "Sensorily", we trespass inside God!

The artistic peak, of "Sensorily" joined to my search of the five senses both those organic, that those sentimental, are revealed in its entirety, after one year of study and intense job. Until, reaches the phase of the realization of press, of my five works, I have involved to my side the graphs of the digital laboratory "DigiArt", of Ceglie Messapica. The five works, every of the dimensions of cm130x98, you realized on Canvas, they have seen their conclusive development in the month of November 2008.

Such works, December 24 th 2008, they have had position in the environments of the department of Radiotherapy of the hospital Perrino in Brindisi, where, through a ceremony of public presentation, I officially gave my works of art, contributing to the "Project for the Radiotherapy of Brindisi", certainly, with the intention of making the environments more pleasing staging of patients and medical staff of codest hospital. But above all with the intent to dip the science inside art, and quite the reverse, sure that the color has, in a "sense", an intense power therapy!
